Wellington House,

Buckingham Gate,

London, S. W.

8th July, 1915,

Dear Dexion,

In reply to your letter of the 2nd instant

enclosing a telegram from the Governor of Hong Kong, I

see no reason why the prohibition of the export of

Cantharides from Hong Kong should not, for the present,

be removed. China is one of the sources of Cantharides,

and the position as regards this drug has been much

improved.

C. W. Dixon, Esq.,

Colonial Office,

Whitehall, S.W.

Yours sincerely,
